About Us
DS Group Advisors is a management consulting company that helps manufacturers leverage the power of procurement to create a competitive advantage. We've been there and understand our client's challenges:

-
meeting new program price targets or annual business plan cost savings
-
improving supplier quality or delivery or minimizing supply chain risk
-
very little oversight or leverage of indirect materials or logistics

Drew Sheffield, with 25+ years in corporate procurement, including leadership roles at Ford and leading automotive suppliers, is Principal Consultant and leads most engagements.

Backstory for DS Group Advisors: In late 2019, Drew was Global Purchasing Director and Acting VP of Material Management for a mega automotive supplier. He led large global teams to meet key performance objectives following established procedures for part commodity strategies, sourcing, program management, scorecards and negotiations.

Drew enjoyed this, but missed the satisfaction of creating new initiatives (ex. 1st corporate indirect purchasing organization, 1st global commodity teams & cross-functional commodity strategies, 1st strategic sourcing or nearshoring), for breakthrough results. He founded DS Group Advisors in 2020 to help manufacturers of all sizes implement best-in-class practices and elevate procurement for a competitive advantage!
